4i Performance Improvement Program

HIT Global works with recognized organizations and associations to conduct accredited medical education programs worldwide. Our Performance Improvement Programs are designed to improve physicians' practice habits within a designated medical field, promoting quality self-assessment and peer-to-peer interaction with the goal of improving patient care.

Hosted on a Web 2.0 platform, our 4i Performance Improvement Programs are customized to meet the individual needs of physicians, combining self-reflective learning activities with interactive multidisciplinary team approaches.

HIT Global's 4i Performance Improvement Programs involve 4 phases:

  • Identify - Chart Review / Needs Assessment
Participants identify - Share-the-Learning opportunities for performance improvement through a Needs Assessment completed in the form of a chart review.
  • Implement - Performance Improvement Plan & Learning
Participants are encouraged to discuss improvement strategies with their team, to set personal performance goals, and to develop a Performance Improvement Plan that each will implement into their practice.
  • Integrate - Chart Review
Participants assess their progress and continue to integrate their new learnings in a chart review.
  • Involve - Share-the-Learning
A CME program is then tailored to meet the performance improvement needs of the participants. Those who wish to can involve their peers or multidisciplinary teams in a face-to-face "Share-the-Learning" meeting, with the objective of addressing key areas in need of improvement.

An Outcomes Measurement is performed using the data collected, highlighting the change in practice patterns and measuring the overall impact on behavior within the medical field.
